Why I'm a Noob?

I'm not a full time programmer. I learn to program just to ease my daily work and take favors from others. I learn to program just by myself,

Why?

Because I am a noob. I just learn how to make a hello world out of C++ using borland. then use some IF, FOR and making some function in my old student days. Just basic stuff. I never learn VB.Net officially and how to use the Visual Studio.

Source of learning.

My only source of learning is the articles from the internet and some books. Because I work in a university library, I have access to many books. But I can't understand most of the books. Maybe its too complicated for a noob like me.

Lack of Best Practices.

I think Best Practice is important. I need to learn how to write code properly and how to manage them well. How to name variables and how to organize my functions. My reference for best practices is just the sample projects from the net. I don't know if I misunderstood any.

Messy Codes

Nobody understand my codes. This is hard to make a team project. Sometime, even I can't understand my own code if I leave it too long.
